How can I take part?
Taking part is easy: just create a delicious dish with Marlene® apples, upload your recipe, enter all the necessary data in our form and cross your fingers!
How many times can I take part in competitions?
You can take part in the culinary journey competition as often as you like. The only requirement is to submit a new recipe each time.
You can also enter the competition as often as you like to win a Marlene® backpack. In addition, you must spin the Aroma Wheel each time you take part. The only exception: if you win a Marlene® backpack, you are excluded for the rest of the day and can take part again the next day.
Is it possible to take part in both competitions?
Absolutely!
What does the Gourmet Package include?
The Gourmet Package includes a Marlene® backpack full of South Tyrolean delicacies such as apple chips, typical crispbread (Schüttelbrot) and much more.
What does the gala dinner involve?
The gala dinner is a delight for all your senses. First, you go up the mountain by cable car. During this journey, guests are spoiled with apple delicacies. The most exciting moment then takes place in the AlpiNN restaurant, where professional chefs prepare a five-course menu. The best part? Each dish is a winning recipe in our competition!
Which countries are taking part in the competition?
All Marlene® enthusiasts in Italy, Spain, Cyprus, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands and Malta can participate.
Are there any rules regarding the submitted material?
It is not permitted to copy one or more recipe ideas (e.g. from the Internet) and present them as your own.
The rights to submitted images must be owned by the person entering the competition, so that they can also be used in the Marlene® cookbook.

How long does the competition last?
The competition starts on 26 February and ends on 15 May 2024.
Who will choose the winners?
A team of top Marlene® apple experts led by renowned chef Norbert Niederkofler, who has 3 Michelin stars and a green star for sustainability.
What is the recipe book and how can I take part?
The best recipes from competition participants will be published in our recipe book. A high-level jury of experts, headed by the famous chef Norbert Niederkofler, will edit the book.
Can the prize be transferred to third parties?
No, unfortunately this is not possible.
