The Anniversary Look Wins Hearts

I was inspired by nature as an inexhaustible source of creation, as well as by Cézanne’s legacy, who was able to recognize an entire universe within apples.
Her work is one of the designs featured in our anniversary edition. You can see the new look in our TV commercial, on our social media channels and, of course, in stores.

Mela,
madre, sorgente di vita,
quando ti porto alla bocca
addento felici ricordi di famiglia;
sul palato si spande profumo di vacanze,
di gustose merende in giardino;
ogni scende una croccante freschezza che disseta
l'anima il tuo aroma pervade i sensi li appaga.
Mi sazi di sogni:
io bambina che cammino sul muschio,
attorno l'aroma di bosco;
respiro la leggera bruma del mattino
che ammanta i prati sonnolenti;
mi perdo nel tuo rosso lucente,
innamorata delle sfumature
che ogni stagione ti vestono di nuovo.
Perenne rinasci,
affascinante frutto delle alpi,
mi intrighi col tuo sapore pieno e versatile.
Solida, liquida,
in tutte le forme mi irretisci
mi attrae quel tuo essere tonda e perfetta
dentro di te il mio mondo.
I chose to describe, in the form of a poem, the emotions that the apple evokes in my mind — as part of the infinite beauty of nature.

In the song, I tried to combine poetic imagery and personal memories: the scent of the orchards, the freshness of biting into a freshly picked apple and the sense of authenticity that has accompanied the Marlene® brand since its creation.
