Characteristics and uses:
rich in carotene and Vitamin A, it has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system. It is ideal in meat dishes and desserts.
Appearance:
bright red colour, more or less uniform, on a yellow-green base; thick and shiny skin. Elongated truncated cone shape, with 5 lobes; medium-large in size. Yellow-cream flesh.
Flesh:
melt in the mouth, juicy and very delicate; crunchy.
Taste:
sweet and deliciously aromatic; slightly perfumed.
