Characteristics and uses:
rich in carotene and Vitamin A, it has a protective effect on the cardiovascular system. Ideal both raw and cooked.
Appearance:
bright red with many stripes, light yellow base; smooth and clean skin. Truncated cone shape; small-medium size, ideal for snacks. Yellow-cream flesh.
Flesh:
firm, crunchy and juicy.
Taste:
very sweet and aromatic with a slight tartness.

from August to mid-March.
