    Between 26 March and 6 April, a surge of gadgets for sector operators

    In late March and early April, Marlene® apples wooed Dutch fruit & vegetable retailers with a lively initiative carried out in collaboration with Aartsenfruit, VOG’s wholesaling commercial partner in the Netherlands.

    Between 26 March and 6 April, when purchasing Marlene® apples, this company’s clients were offered the exciting possibility of receiving various fantastic free offers: Marlene® personalised caps, iPod shuffles and the latest iPad models. At the same time, hundreds of Dutch fruit & vegetable retailers received free promotional kits that brought the colourful and contagious friendliness of the iconic Marlene® apple tree to their shops.

    And that’s not all: to follow up these initiatives, the month of April will feature a series of advertisements in Holland’s second biggest national newspaper and on various websites dedicated to wellbeing and lifestyle, all spreading the same message: “Marlene® apples, fresh from the heart of the Italian Alps, await you in Holland’s best fruit & vegetable shops.”
